Roosevelt Park is another treasure located in Gary, Indiana. There is a baseball field, a basketball court and a building in the middle of the two spaces for sports and community events. I visited Saturday, August 30, 2025. I had a chance to see the newest addition to the park, a mural celebrating Glenn Robinson. If you are in the area, the best way to view the mural is to enter from Harrison Street.
